Shipping & Returns

Shipping

• Where we ship: anywhere in the United States.
• Cost: a flat $8.95 per order for standard shipping. You'll see it at checkout before you pay.
• When it ships: we pack and ship orders within 3–5 business days.
• When it arrives: most orders arrive 5–10 business days after you order.
• Sales tax: collected at checkout where the law requires it.

If your package hasn't shown up within 15 business days of your order, email us and we'll track it down.

Damaged or wrong items

Salt is heavy and slabs can crack. If anything arrives broken, damaged, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 14 days of delivery with your order details and a photo. We'll send a replacement or give you a full refund, including shipping. You won't need to send the damaged item back.

Returns

Changed your mind? You can return unopened, unused items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery. This applies to everything we sell, salt boards and slabs included.

1. Email us at info@saltmuleco.com with your order details and what you'd like to return.
2. We'll reply with the return address.
3. Ship the item back. Return shipping is paid by you, and we suggest a tracked service.

Once the item reaches us in its original condition, we'll refund the item price to your original payment method within 5 business days. Original shipping charges aren't refundable unless the return is because of our mistake. Your bank may take a few more days to show the refund.

For health and safety reasons we can't accept returns of opened salt for bath, kitchen, or animal use.

Cancellations

Need to cancel? Email us before your order ships and we'll cancel it and refund you in full.
